I must be diligent in allowing God the room to work, because if my hand is on it, God’s hand is off it. But, if my hand is off it, Gods hand is on it. So here’s the question… When you ask God in prayer to take care of something, do you truly believe He will?

Yet, He told her to go back and continue to be Sarai’s servant. He didn’t deliver her from it, but never abandoned her in it. Sometimes it’s bigger than you. Sometimes it’s bigger than just your pain you will endure for a little while. His purpose is bigger.

Perfection is not God‘s requirement. Perfection is a weapon of the enemy to keep us locked in self doubt, self desecration and buried in the destruction of self abuse. Once we can see this, once we can recognize what’s happening, once we release and forgive ourselves for not being perfect then we can move forward into the things that God has for us.

As we enter this next week with Thanksgiving so fresh in our minds, let us hold fast to this truth. Thanksgiving is not just something we do one day out of the year, but a constant posture of our heart.

Let us make allowances for each other.

Let us remember it is all for God’s glory, working in and through us to bring honor to the Kingdom.

Jesus told the disciples to teach all the nations, all the world, all the things. Did you know the Bible, just since the time of record keeping, has sold Five Billion copies? Did you know the Bible is available in over Two Thousand languages? This was accomplished because Jesus’ disciples did not delay. So many countless lives transformed. So many countless souls saved. Stop and pause…. Just think about the magnitude of multitudes… generations upon generations.

I can remember sitting in church, thinking how was I ever going to please this perfect, all-knowing, God. How, in all my sin and shame, could He ever possibly love me?

And the lie worked… for years this lie of the enemy worked to keep me locked up in the chains of my sin along with the shame it carried. I was completely stalled out. For years. But God….amen?

That light is Jesus….the source of God’s righteousness in us. A beautiful masterpiece, each one of us.

What impression are you leaving with the words you speak about yourself? Speak out loud your true identity in Christ Jesus.

Journey. Merriam-Webster’s definition is an act or instance of traveling from one place to another. Life is just that. Traveling from one place to another and another and another. In a tight little nutshell…We are all here to keep each other going. Life has its good, and it’s really good most of the time. but it also has its bad and can be really bad. The good news is we have His never failing promises to stand firm on.

We think we have to have the boat, but God had a plan so that their brokenness became their breakthrough.

The longer you delay an act of obedience, the more challenges will be placed in the way of successfully accomplishing it. When the call comes, God’s grace comes along with it. When the call comes, provision comes along with it. When the call comes, divine knowledge and full ability to succeed comes along with it. Delay removes that… Delay creates obstacles.

The twists and turns are so vast and all the possibilities of actions along the way determine the success of it all. One thing is for certain, no matter how many detours and dead ends we hit, we will all eventually come to the strategies of God.

I used to be so angry, I was happy on the outside to people I didn’t know, but I could be so mean to my family that loved me. That anger was from years of unforgiveness and bitterness that stemmed from offense after offense I took all too personal. Enter Jesus.

All throughout the Bible God encourages people to record their words, record His words because this is how we remember.

This is how we keep these things forefront in our minds. Tangible and real.

These three have more than just an angelic visit in common, they also had to set aside a piece of self to make room for Jesus. They all had something to give up in preparation for the coming arrival of Jesus.

So without Jesus, we are aliens, strangers to the promises of God. Hopeless and orphan. This is such a sad place to be with no hope and without God.

Praise God He gave us the good gift of redemption by the blood of the lamb.

The day to day trials we walk through, even the most gut punching hits in life cannot be allowed to define who we are. Don’t let it label you.

“When hands are raised in worship, God meets us right there with renewed strength and we find victory. But, when we let our sight turn toward our problem, this is the moment the enemy starts to prevail.”

Our Father in heaven desires for each of His children to live a beautiful life. I learned that He yearns to have relationship with us. I learned that He created us to operate in total wholeness of mind, body, and spirit.

“All three accounts, Jesus had no preempted agenda, no judgment, no condemnation. Jesus didn’t give direction, quote scripture nor even once tell any of them how wrong they were living. No, he went only to demonstrate and show the Father’s unconditional love, plain and simple.”
