Joy Made Full
“These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”
John 15:11 NASB
Joy made full… Yes, please!! Amen?
In Deuteronomy 25:3 it says;
“When you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for it would be sin in you, and the Lord your God will surely require it of you. However, if you refrain from vowing, it would not be sin in you. You shall be careful to perform what goes out from your lips, just as you have voluntarily vowed to the Lord your God, what you have promised.”
When He called, I said “yes, Lord.”
I said I would, and now i must keep moving forward.
I know grace upon grace covers everything.
I know this.
I know God is not mad at me.
If I never did another thing He calls me to do, I stand assured I would still walk through those gates of Heaven at the end of my life and He would greet me with arms wide open.
I trust in His promise of salvation.
Salvation comes from no other name, but Jesus.
Our chief corner stone.
Salvation is:
Absolution from the power and effects of sin.
Liberation from ignorance and illusions.
Preservation from destruction or failure.
Deliverance from danger or difficulty.
Salvation is complete wholeness.
I want this beautiful life Jesus suffered and died to give me.
I want to share the gospel and have the wondrous joy found in healing humanity.
I asked God for that.
I prayed to be Jesus’ hands and feet and I meant it.
I said “Yes, Lord.”
It simply comes down to trust and obey.
Setting aside fear of rejection, fear of confrontation, fear of opposition or worst yet, fear of failure.
Psalm 37:5 says,
“Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.”
Won’t He surely do it.
Trust and obey.
He is breathing a new wind.
Not in my effort, not in my trying. The struggle is in the “try”.
The success is in knowing that nevertheless, God will. Trusting He will do it.
“If He calls you to it, He will lead you through it.” Amen?
It’s ALL about who He is.
It’s ALL about what He can do.
It’s ALL about His purpose.
Mark 16:15 says; “...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
As far as the East is from the West and the North is from the South.
The direction of God is precise and to the point.
God’s promises tell us what He will do.
God’s principles tell us what we should do.
Romans 12 gives us a great run down of those principles.
Verses 10-13 says,
“Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.”
We are all called to use what God has equipped us with.
Right in this place, right now, there is someone that needs to see Jesus in you.
Remember, God’s grace is in this very moment.
God’s provision comes in the moment.
God’s divine knowledge and full ability to succeed is in the moment.
Right there in the now, He will be with you…giving the words, compassion, wisdom, knowledge, love.
Right there in the now, someone on your path that needs to encounter the Father’s love through your act of kindness.
Romans 10:13 says,
“Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
God does not disappoint.
Jesus told the disciples to teach all the nations, all the world, all the things.
Did you know the Bible, just since the time of record keeping, has sold Five Billion copies?
Did you know the Bible is available in over Two Thousand languages?
This was accomplished because Jesus’ disciples did not delay.
So many countless lives transformed.
So many countless souls saved.
Stop and pause…. Just think about the magnitude of multitudes… generations upon generations.
2 Corinthians 3:4-5 says,
“Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,”
I stand confident in the call.
I stand confident in the name of Jesus.
I stand confident in the transforming power of God.
I stand confident to say “Yes, Lord.”
Our success is in the nevertheless.
Church, Jesus is coming back.
I want what’s on the other side of the nevertheless.
2 Timothy 2:19 says,
“Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His;”
Amen!
On the other side of all the noise, distractions and frustrations in our daily lives, we have this… we have nevertheless, the firm foundation of God and the promise that He knows each and every one of us.
He loves you. Our good good Father in Heaven loves you.
Trust that today.
